If you have clicked onto this recipe you must  like Lamb, as do I!!! Even if you are not sure about Lamb burgers PLEASE  give this one a try!<\/p>\n<p>It is definitely\u00a0 one of the best burgers I have eaten!!!\u00a0 The Feta  Spread works so well with the moist meat, lettuce, and tomatoes creating  a delicious party in your mouth! UMMMM!!!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/theskinnyonscv.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/falafel-ck-1215899-l.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"falafel-ck-1215899-l\" src=\"http:\/\/theskinnyonscv.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/falafel-ck-1215899-l-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>BURGERS:<\/p>\n<p>2 pounds ground lamb (a little more won\u2019t matter, sometimes  prepackaged meats are more than a pound)<\/p>\n<p>1\/2 cup minced shallots<\/p>\n<p>3 Tablespoons minced fresh mint leaves<\/p>\n<p>1 Tablespoon minced garlic<\/p>\n<p>1 1\/2 teaspoons salt<\/p>\n<p>1\/2 teaspoon ground cumin<\/p>\n<p>1\/4 teaspoon ground allspice<\/p>\n<p>1\/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper<\/p>\n<p>1\/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon<\/p>\n<p>Combine all ingredients gently but thoroughly. Using hands shape  mixture into 6 wide patties about 1\/2 inch thick and place on platter.  Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate at least 2 hours and up to  overnight.<\/p>\n<p>FETA SPREAD:<\/p>\n<p>4 ounces crumbled feta cheese (I use reduced fat)<\/p>\n<p>4 ounces cream cheese, softened (again I use lite or the reduced fat)<\/p>\n<p>1\/4 cup mayonnaise (you guessed it)<\/p>\n<p>2 Tablespoons green onion tops, minced<\/p>\n<p>1 teaspoon olive oil<\/p>\n<p>1\/4 teaspoon finely grated lemon zest<\/p>\n<p>1\/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper<\/p>\n<p>Combine all ingredients, stirring well. Cover with plastic wrap and  refridgerate for at least 1 hour and up to overnight to allow flavors to  blend.<\/p>\n<p>CONDIMENTS:<\/p>\n<p>lettoce<\/p>\n<p>tomatoes, sliced<\/p>\n<p>roasted red peppers,(optional)<\/p>\n<p>When you are ready to cook your burgers, preheat a grill or B.B.Q. to  medium-high. Brush the burgers on both sides with olive oil. Place each  burger on hot grill and cook fot about 4 minutes on each side for  medium, a bit longer for well done. Toast your buns till warm. Serve  burgers with some of the feta spread on top of each burger patty.
