One sandwich  is only 300 calories and very low in fat, give it a try!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/theskinnyonscv.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/pita_pocket.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"pita_pocket\" src=\"http:\/\/theskinnyonscv.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/pita_pocket-150x136.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"136\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>1 pound ground turkey<\/p>\n<p>1\/2 tsp. of cinnamon or allspice<\/p>\n<p>1\/2 tsp. of nutmeg<\/p>\n<p>1\/4 tsp. cumin<\/p>\n<p>2 Tbl. lemon juice<\/p>\n<p>1 onion, peeled, halved and thinly sliced<\/p>\n<p>2 cloves garlic, finely minced (or more, to your liking)<\/p>\n<p>1 large ripe tomatoe, peeled and cubed<\/p>\n<p>2 Tbl. chopped fresh mint (or 2 tsp. dried)<\/p>\n<p>1\/2 tsp. dried oregano<\/p>\n<p>1 Tbs. choppes parsley<\/p>\n<p>3\/4 cup sliced deli-style dill pickles(hamburger chips)<\/p>\n<p><em>optional: 8 <\/em>ounces plain low-fat yogurt\/ better yet try my  Tzatziki Sauce !<\/p>\n<p>3 large pita pockets<\/p>\n<p>Mix meat and cinnamon and nutmeg. Shape into tiny meatballs. Brown in  a non-stick skillet sprayed with cooking spray.Drain meatballs in  needed. Stir in lemon juice, seasonings, onion, pickle and tomato cubes.  Cover tightly and simmer 2 to 3 minutes, just until vegies are heated  through but still crisp. Split pita pockets into half moons and open to  form pockets.
